New Favorite Word Game

Love the new shiny look as they continue to just improve on an already great app. On one hand I still love WwF but after being clued into Word Chums by Word Addicts, I have to admit I like WC better. If it’s a bit cutsy for you, I can understand - but if you can get past that, at it’s core it’s just got so much more going for it.

First off, while there is a store and you buy/earn extra coins, you actually earn coins by playing as well. And really (other than the More Stars boost that gives you a better indicator of how strong your word is than the built in strength indicator) most items are just for fun. They may allow you to build XP faster, but the level you are really has no indication of how strong you play, only how often and how many points you score. WwF, on the other hand makes you buy a strength indicator. You also get good stats and standings built into WC vs a paid option in WwF.

On top of all that, WC has a 4 player mode, team mode, a dictionary, and vs Computer option fir when your chums are taking their time.

Will I completely give up WwF? Absolutely not, but I will be encouraging the folks I play with to give WC a chance…for me it’s a far superior game and I’m glad I found it.
